In collaboration with Invision Designs, the goal of this project was to open up the existing kitchen and dining room area in order to create more usable space for entertaining as well as gain more storage. The dark cabinetry and odd kitchen layout made the area seem dark and outdated. By removing a load bearing post, the space visually expanded as a larger island was created for prepping, eating, and storage. Bright white cabinetry with black and wood accents makes this new kitchen pop. The additional storage gained in the dining room, entry area, and pantry utilizes every nook and cranny to its fullest.
