This dark, very dated bathroom was not suiting the aging homeowners’ needs. They desired a large shower with a bench seat for easy accessibility and a separate soaking tub for relaxation.
Finding an asymmetrical corner tub and removing the current storage closet allowed for creating a large walk-in shower with a standard showerhead and an additional hand-held shower at the bench seat. Custom tile work is seen throughout the shower and on the wainscoting, bathtub front, and floors. The space became brighter and more airy by keeping the colors light, adding an additional transom window and more lighting. The Remodeler met their client’s budget requirements and covered all their wants and needs, as they plan to stay in this house for many more years.
