Our whole house remodel transformed this previously untouched home from the 1980s into a modern, comfortable, and functional living space from top to bottom. The client’s vision of what they wanted is reflected throughout the home, from the contemporary style to the most minor finishing details. Walking through the front door and into the living room, you’ll notice the revamped fireplace, including custom cabinetry, ceramic tile surround, and granite hearth. With the removal of interior walls, the natural hickory hardwood is the backdrop for the open floor plan leading into the kitchen. The new kitchen features painted inset cabinetry, granite countertops, lantern tile backsplash, and a large island. Daylight from the southern exposure is maximized through new, oversized windows over the sink. You’ll find the new laundry room, butler’s pantry, and powder room just off the kitchen. The main stairs were reconstructed to feature natural hickory treads open on one side, including custom wainscot paneling from the first to the second floor. The remaining portion of the first floor was transformed into a primary suite. This includes a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, handmade cement floor tiles, and custom cabinetry. Upstairs, you will find three newly finished bedrooms, including all new trim work, lighting, and floor finishes. A new, larger guest bathroom features an oversized walk-in shower, soaking tub, custom cabinetry, and handmade cement floor tiles.
