Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes Winners Announced
Lancaster, PA (June 12, 2009) – The two most coveted local honors in home building were presented at the Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes Gala Friday evening,, held at the Eden Resort Inn & Suites. This annual Gala officially kicks off the Parade of Homes, recognizing all entries and announcing the winning homes.
Sponsored by Fulton Bank, the Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes is a free public event presented jointly by the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County (BIA) and the Lebanon County Builders Association (LCBA). The Parade is sponsored by Fulton Bank and Lebanon Valley Farmers Bank.
The 2009 Parade of Homes Lancaster County Fulton Award was presented to Merv Miller Builder, for his home located at 9 Snyder Hill Road, Lititz (home #27). The 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath custom-built home is priced at $629,400 and boasts the following features:
- Covered patio with complete outdoor living: Fireplace, grill, kitchen, and hot tub

The Parade of Homes entries were divided into 16 divisions according to the price, type, and location of the homes. Along with the Fulton Awards, One home in each division earned a "Best in Show" Award, with additional awards for "Best" in: Exterior, Interior, Bath, Kitchen, Decorating, Landscaping,. The entries were judged on June 9 and 10 by judges from outside the area, using a numerical scoring system.

Guidebooks are available at area Fulton Bank locations, the BIA office (204 Butler Avenue, Lancaster) and the LCBA office (39 Klein Avenue, Lebanon), or at any Parade home. This free event runs June 13-21. All Parade homes are open weekdays 5-8 p.m. and weekends 12-6 p.m.
